About Redditch Lions Club

Redditch Lions Club was chartered in June 1972 as part of Lions Clubs International, and we have now been serving the community of Redditch for more than 38 years, providing physical and financial help to the community and those in need.

With 18 active Lions in the Club, we meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to further our work, enjoy good company, and – above all – to work out how to have a good time serving the community.

As well as fund-raising activities such as our Funday, can shakes, Children in Need collections, fireworks and the famous Casino Night, we enjoy social events such as country rambles followed by a good pub lunch, quizzes, barbecues, bowling, and anything else that gets us laughing. If you’ve got an idea for something to help raise funds to support those in need in the community, why not come along to one of our meetings and tell us about it.

If you’d like more information, or to enquire about joining the club, just telephone our President Bll Southworth at any reasonable time on 0845 833 5914 and he’ll point you in the right directon.
